Thislife Online | A little house in Cape Town offers sustainable hope!

‘If we have problems, we sit down, we discuss. It’s like a family, it’s a nice place to be. I’m developing myself, saving my own money and am able to move out soon. It’s positive!’

Meet Michael, whose life has been transformed by a little NPO in Cape Town’s Muizenberg called New Hope. It’s been home for him and a group of homeless men while it lovingly creates sustainable pathways out of homelessness.

Plus meet Richard, its founder. ‘Our goal is for people to find jobs and we’ve been blessed with a lot of success,’ he says.

‘I’m the one who benefits from seeing their resilience,’ says Charlie, supervisor of the home that’s an oasis to the men. ‘It’s super rewarding.’
