‘It was just a mess!’ So says Gill McCulloch of her life before she and her daughter set up a haven for abused and neglected horses that’s exploded purpose into their lives. Not only are they bringing comfort to the horses, they’re also helping vulnerable women and children, former addicts and people who’ve simply lost their mojo track down joy again.

‘I realised I’m worth recovery,’ says former drug addict Gaëlle who was helped by the haven. ‘It gives you a sense of belonging in this world,’ says young volunteer Christopher. Be inspired by their stories right here!
