Cape Town foodie Sally Bingham sent us this recipe, and it’s utterly delicious and as easy as, well, pie. Up the fun factor by serving it in quirky containers: teacups, espresso cups, assorted glasses…

Yay, easiest ever ice cream with only three ingredients and no machine. Fresh berries or cherry yoghurt will turn it a fetching purple | Photo: Tonya Hester
What you need
1 tin condensed milk
250ml fresh cream
Plus ONE of the following:
- 300ml Greek yoghurt and 300g fresh or frozen berries of your choice mixed together (if strawberries, chop them first) OR
- 500ml fruit yoghurt of choice (try cherry from Woolworths or apple strudel from Pick n Pay)
What you do
Mix condensed milk and yoghurt (with berries if using) until well blended.
Beat cream and fold into this mixture.
Freeze overnight, or for as long as you can wait before indulging!
